Halloween is fast approaching so it's time to start planning. I have two Halloween parties this year, one night after the other, so I need two costumes. Major stress!
I must admit I've been pretty unimaginative in the past few years. My Pocahontus costume has been out on more than two occasions and I'm not even sorry. For one night of the year, I love wearing huge eyelashes, dark tan and my feather headband. We all know that Halloween is supposed to be scary, but it takes a brave girl to walk into a party full of pretty fairies, Marilyn Monroe's and Disney Princesses (*cough*) when you're dressed up as a blood-soaked zombie.
With that said, I've seen some amazingly creative Halloween make up and it looks like so much fun. I decided to look on line for inspiration and realised there's a lot of 'scary' make-up that, in a weird way, looks really pretty too. So for at least one night this year, I'm going to attempt something like the pictures below. All of which are scary but still feminine and pretty.
If you're thinking of doing similar make up this year, I would absolutely recommend searching through some of the tutorials on Youtube.
Here's some of my favourite tutorials I've found so far.
