OUTFIT || Tartan Boyfriend Shirt

Sunday, 13 October 2013

Black Cami // Topshop
Suede Flat Chelsea Boots // Barratts (last year)
Leather Jacket with Fur Attachment // Topshop (last year)
Neon Green Edge Paint Satchel // Topshop (colour no longer available, similar here)
Chunky Black and Silver Chain // Primark
Lips: Apocalips in 402 Across the Universe

Why is it impossible to find a pair of skinny jeans that stay skinny? These were my latest purchase from Topshop, and I thought I might have been onto a winner, but as you can see they're getting baggy at the knees already. So the hunt starts again. I think the perfect pair of jeans would be mid-waisted, Joni jeans that don't wash out or go out of shape. Is that so hard to ask? Philip Green, if you're reading this - you've got work to do!

This boyfriend shirt is yet another tartan addition to my wardrobe. I really need to concentrate on getting things that are non-tartan and non-fluffy. I went for a wander around the shops yesterday and saw the most perfect winter coat, ever. I know I said this last week, but this one here really is perfect. It's all fur lined and look a lot better in real life than in these pictures. Sadly, it was purely window shopping and I really couldn't afford to take it home with me. I'm praying it will still be there on pay day!

What have you all been up to this weekend?

  1. I love the tartan top! I don't own anything like this in my wardrobe. I just picked up a pair of Joni jeans from topshop and so far so good! Not much stretch or bagginess on the legs thankfully x

    1. Joni's are definitely the least baggy ones I've tried! I think I'd actually buy them again and just be careful how I wash them! xx

  8. I love that shirt, you can't beat a bit of plaid. Love how you've styled it and your bag is adorable too! I have that same problem with Topshop skinnies too, and it's definitely a recent development. Eveyone has been commenting that I've lost weight because my jeans look so baggy... I wish. Lol.
