OUTFIT || Spending Plan

Sunday, 26 May 2013

A spending 'ban' is far too daunting to consider. So I've tried more of a spending 'plan' for this month. I've planned every single penny that I'm allowed to spend each week, including outfits, nights out, PETROL, everything!  This week, I'd given myself £50.00 to buy an outfit for a night out in Glasgow. So it was a bit of a challenge! I found this dress on ASOS for £22.00 and it caught my eye because of the cut out shoulders. I LOVE cut out detail. I was surprised when it arrived as it's really nice material and well made. And it went perfectly with the Zara necklace and clutch I got a while ago and haven't had the chance to wear very much.

These heels were also another bargain. I love chunky heels and had my eye on a Topshop pair when I came across these shoes from Boohoo. I love websites like Boohoo and Chockers for inexpensive versions of Topshop shoes. And my spending plan loves it too!

I have a bit of a beauty bloggers block at the moment and I'm lacking inspiration. Having a lazy day and out for dinner tonight so hoping a bit of relaxation will free up some brain space!

Hope you have a lovely weekend everyone :)

Holiday Beauty Favourites

Friday, 10 May 2013
Hello again everyone :)

If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know I've been in Portugal the last week. I was the happiest person alive in Portugal, it's my favourite place in the world! For my first post since I've been back, I wanted to talk about my holiday essentials that I couldn't have lived without.

Garnier Summer Body - I used this before I left and on my first few days to take the edge of the 'It's my first day' paleness. It fades evenly so there's no patchiness and it's takes care of moisturising too.

Topshop 'Causing a stir' - A perfect apricot-y orange. Lovely against a tan and the perfect colour for toes.

Rimmel 'Peppermint' - This was one from last year that I've started using again. I'm obsessed with this colour right now.

Collection 'Shimmer Shades' - Last year, I took my Dior powder highlighter to Florida. It smashed and I was devastated. I brought this shimmer palette as it was inexpensive and I ended up loving the pink shade as a cheekbone highlighter. The other colours are really similar to Dior 'Amber Diamond'. (here)

Hair Donut - .. because who can be bothered with their hair on holiday? This was perfect for keeping my hair under control on the beach and also for night time. This was 99p from Primark!

I've somehow managed to inhale a share size bar of Mint Aero when I was writing this. Where did that go!?

I'm off to sunny Tenerife tomorrow with my boyfriend Andy so I'll probably do some outfit posts again - let me know if you like outfit posts? I've been doing a lot more recently and really enjoy them! :)

Have a good weekend everyone!

Ice Cream Like There's No Tomorrow

Thursday, 2 May 2013
Okay it's my first time posting using the Blogger app, but I really wanted to do some outfit posts when I'm over here. I'm in Portugal just now with my family so the background is ALOT nicer than my living room door! The weathers a bit unpredictable - one minute we're in bikinis sprawled out, catching a tan and then the clouds move and we're rushing to get jumpers on! It's the perfect weather for my 3 year old nephew though, who's been playing on the beach ALL day and eating ice cream like there's no tomorrow. This skirt is last years from Zara and its soo silky, I love this colour in summer. I'm going for an early night tonight after eating way too much at dinner. Then moving on to an ice cream shop for kinder surprise ice cream - YUM.

Have any of you ever been to Portugal ? It's my favourite place! Xxx
