Jayla Polka Dot Shirt Dress*:Love Pink Boutique || Backpack:H&M
Burgundy Chelsea Boots: Topshop (sold out)
Hello! Hope you've all had a fun weekend! On Friday night, I was lucky enough to go to Lush Braehead for their first bloggers event. This was to give us a preview of their new Easter and Mother's day range, and we were not disappointed! The girls were so helpful and informative - I couldn't believe how much they knew about each product off the top of their heads. They kindly talked us through the new products and gave us some demonstrations of the lovely bath products in action. I loved the Glittery bubble bars and carrot soap for Easter - they smell unbelievably good!
I'd definitely recommend going to Lush for a Mothers day present, their gift sets are totally different to what you'd get anywhere else. They're wrapped up in printed fabric which can be reused however you like (environmentally friendly and all that!) and the thing that I loved the most is that you can make the gift a bit more personal and add in some of your mums favourite products. I'm not going to lie, I squealed a little when they gave us a goody bag at the end. It's like they read my mind because it contained the top products on my mental wishlist that I'd created throughout the event. I'm most looking forward to trying out one of their liquid lipsticks from the Emotional Brilliance range. I've been using their solid shampoo since Friday too, so expect a post with my thoughts soon!
The event was also a good opportunity to wear my new collar shirt dress for the first time. Love Pink Boutique kindly let me pick something from their site, and this dress was calling my name! I love the structured collar and the floaty fit means it's really comfortable to wear during the day. I think it goes really well with my flat chelsea boots, but I also think it'll be easy to dress up too. The material feels nice and soft, and didn't cling to me or go static - which is so important with this style.
I preferred the dress without tights, which was fine since the event was indoors. Not so practical on a windy day though, hence why I'm back to indoor outfit pictures this week. I'll be back outside for better pics next week hopefully!
