This week I've been working with Braehead Shopping centre in Glasgow, in the build-up to their 'Everyone's invited' Summer party this weekend. Before the event begins tomorrow, I was asked to put together two summer festival outfits from the retailers in the centre - one for day time festival, and one for night.
I'm actually ashamed to say I've still never been to a festival. I'm the only one of my friends who hasn't been - it's definitely on my list for the near future! At least if I decide to go at the last minute, I have an idea of what to wear! I was actually surprised at how easy it was to pick these two outfits - there's so much to chose from in the shops at the moment.
So here's the outfits I put together, let me know what you think in the comments!
Sunglasses: New Look || Sandals (£12): Primark || Coral Bag: New Look
Outfit #1: Festivals and denim go together like lamb and tuna fish. *winks to Big Daddy fans* This pair of white ripped shorts tick every box for me at the moment and I love how they look with this printed crop and denim jacket. To add some brighter colours to the outfit, I chose this coral bag and pink/red sunglasses and finished it all off with these gorgeous metallic sandals. The best thing is, if you're a bit more practical, this outfit would still look really cool with a pair of wellies too!
Outfit #2: For the night time look, I wanted to pick something a little bit dressier, but still festival-appropriate. I think this dress is the perfect mix of smart and casual. The palm print is really on trend at the moment and the shades of blue and pink are so pretty together. I matched the dress with this stone coloured loose-fitting cardigan, and added some black and white accessories to break up the colour. Again, I think this would still look really good with a pair of wellies too.
What do you think of these outfits? Which one is your favourite?
