Hello and Happy Friday! Today's post is something a little different - I really want to keep the variety in my blog, and one of my new years resolutions (sorry I'm a little late) was to include more food and recipes that I've tried making. Admittedly, I didn't get round to being a totally amazing chef as planned, but I have been trying out a lot of new things recently. I came up with this little masterpiece recently (if I do say so myself) so I thought I'd share it with you all. Okay actually, I probably can't call it a masterpiece because it's so unbelievably simple. But then again,  that's the best thing about it. 

I came up with this 'recipe' (if you can call it that) when I was trying to satisfy my usual sweet craving after dinner. I really wanted apple crumble and a cup of tea - my cravings can be quite specific like that! Now there's no chance I'm making one of those just for me and my diet wouldn't thank me if I did, so here's what I came up with instead. It only has a few simple ingredients, takes two minutes to make, it's healthy and most importantly, it tastes so good. 

                                Here's how I make my super quick and easy mini crumbles.

1. Mash up one banana in a bowl as much as you can, then put it in the microwave for 30 seconds. 
2. Add half a teaspoon of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of sweetener and a tiny pinch of salt, and mix well. 
3. Put it back into the microwave for another 20 seconds then mix well again. 

There's something about hot banana that tastes far too good to be healthy. The consistency is really similar to baked apples too, without all the hassle. Now all you need is the crumble.

4. Transfer the banana mixture into a small glass.
5. Pour in some Alpen Raspberry and Apple muesli (or another flavour that you like)
6. Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and voila!

It may not be the most presentable pudding, but who needs presentable when it's 7pm on a Monday night and you want something sweet to eat while you're watching Made in Chelsea? Not me anyway.
