Sharing some big news...

Well hello! Remember me? I've had a 'little' blogging break for the last few months, and the main reason is that I've been a bit preoccupied with other things going on in life. It's been the hardest secret to keep, but this weekend me and Andy finally started sharing our big news so of course I had to share it on here too... we're having a baby! 

No matter how many times I've said it, it still hasn't sunk in that there will be a baby in our house before the end of this year, although it definitely began to feel more real on Friday when we saw our little cherub on the screen for the first time, wriggling away .. and yawning! It's so strange to watch the screen and actually make the connection that this little person is inside my belly - it's so surreal. He/she was measuring perfectly, and we were given a due date of the 26th October 2016. 

Throughout the last 10 weeks (I found out when I was 4 weeks pregnant), I've been constantly watching pregnancy videos on YouTube, so I think it's a good time to make a reappearance over there to share my own experiences so far and to have something to look back on when it's all over. I'll be filming a first trimester update some time next week - so look out for that on my channel. 

Now that I'm into my second trimester and starting to get a bit more energy (although still asleep before 9.30pm every night), I'm hoping to get back into blogging this week. I'm spending today making blog post plans and it feels good to be back!
